Student chef placing marshmallows on a skewerThe APS After-School System is a collection of programs that provide students in grades K-5 with access to physically and emotionally-safe spaces to continue their growth outside of the classroom. This system is housed within our district, allowing full ownership of helping our students shape successful futures.

APS after-school programs are inclusive, provide students with more opportunities to establish healthy relationships with adults and peers, and offer many ways for students to actively engage in learning new skills.

As a result of being involved in after-school programming, our students experience improved social and emotional competencies, reduced behavioral problems and more.

We Are Expanding!
Thanks to Aurora voters who passed the APS 2018 mill levy override, we expanded and will continue to broaden our after-school system! The mill levy override funding provides us with additional resources to create new opportunities and partnerships.
